Crazy show! We were missing Pistol Pete and Todcaster so I had to produce the show and do all the sound engineering. Well – throw a few shots of Tequila in the mix plus The Camster, and guests David, Boris, Greg and Kathryn and Houston, we have a problem! It was a lot of fun – a rollercoaster ride of a show – but on reflection, it strayed a bit too far from the format that I am happy with. I don’t want to be accused of “Having a party and turning a couple of mics on”. This is a real radio show and as such it needs proper production values. Welcome back Pete!

Sorry I’m late posting it….I’ve been pretending to be really busy this week.
Great show! I wasn’t actually on top form because I wasn’t nearly hungover enough. Alex Peacock joined me along with the fabulous Camille. Steve pops in for an outrageous edition of “Steve – we can rebuild him” – it’s a real shocker this week – definitely not for children under the age of 35. We kicked off Hungover Idol – a great start – Steve Shane, Camille and some gatecrasher called Roy – whom we had to escort from the premesis. What a wanker.
Anyway – as usual, sit back, grab a brew and enjoy!

You are going to enjoy this one! Me, Amit, Pistol Pete, the delightful Camille joining me as co-host – it was a really enjoyable show. SO much happens in a week these days – we are never short of content – and this week we didn’t get to a lot of topics as I couldn’t stop going off on a tangent. Bloody good fun though. Interviewed an online security expert, Robert Siciliano – who was actually a very interesting guy and it was a great interview. I also interviewed Governor Jesse Ventura this week about his new book American Conspiracies. I read the book and had a great half hour on the phone with the Governor – I’ll post the whole interview later. I recommend the book if you have any interest in Conspiracies – The Governor was making the point to me that these are not “Theories” – there is as much or more documented data to support these conspiracies as there is to support the Government’s version of each of the events. Interesting stuff!
Dave Lipson from Rick Dees Entertainment was also in the studio this week – he is a friend of mine, and along with 30 years experience in the Radio industry – he is also somewhat of a Conspiracy guy. We were supposed to get to the bottom of some of the Jesse Ventura material – but just ran out time – so we will probably do something next week.
As for next week – I’m thinking about a Singing Competition, I’m going to working on the stings and sound effects for the show this week – apparently we’ve been having some output sound issues, so I need to get to the bottom of that.

Our 9th show! It’s all going according to plan – this week we had Todd the Engineer in his rightful place – whcih makes a huge difference and allows me to get on with the show without worrying too much about the sound, music, stings, prerecorded pieces etc.
This ain’t easy. Or everyone would be doing it. Anyway – I haven’t lost any of my enthusiasm – I’m determined to parlay this whole thing into something that actually pays the bills. I am getting better every week – I reckon by week 12 I am going to have transformed into a comfortable Broadcaster.
It was a great show – we had 3 comedians come in for the second hour and had a lot of fun with them – I find that the more people in the studio – the better I feel and perform. Comedians know how to have a laugh – and the banter we had was probably as good or better than the set pieces.
Next week – The Jesse Ventura Interview – listen in and I’ll explain how I landed that. Very soon we have Corbin Bernsen, RIck Reilly of ESPN and an interview with the man who taught Keanu Reeves how to surf for the greatest movie of all time, Point Break.
